Growing up in New Jersey, lacrosse was Beth's sport of passion. She attended Cherry Hill High School East, where she was team captain, all-state selection, high-scorer & selected to the Garden State Games. Beth played lacrosse for one year at Towson University in Baltimore, MD before hanging up her cleats. She returned to the game 9 years ago when the sport first came to Frisco and has been involved in growing the sport here ever since. Beth has coached at every age level over the last 9 years and prides herself on knowing all the Fury players by name. Under her direction, the HS team went undefeated their inaugural Varsity season and went on to win 2 back to back North Texas district championships, taking the team to the State Championships three times. The team has players selected to All-State, All-District, All-Academic and represent on Team Texas. We now have Fury girls playing at D1, D2 & D3 colleges. Beth is passionate about the Girls Lacrosse Club of Frisco and helping girls reach their potential in the sport. She is currently the Program Director and coaches where the need is greatest. Beth & her husband, Lance, live in Frisco and they have a son who plays Football and Lacrosse & a daughter who plays lacrosse at both rec and club level. They have a family passion for traveling, scuba diving, golfing, 4 Wheeling and hanging out in the great outdoors! Beth is also a travel consultant for Elm Planning which feeds her passion for travel!
HS Head Coach
Claire is from Winnetka, IL and excelled in two sports at New Trier High School. She captained both New Trier’s lacrosse and ice hockey teams as a senior. McCain earned back-to-back All-Conference and All-State honors in her final two seasons of lacrosse. In 2012, the team won the Central Suburban League Championship and earned a spot in the state championship game. That year, McCain was named to the Under Armour All-America Midwest and Chicago Metro National teams. McCain also played for the True Lacrosse club from 2011-12. She was a four-year letter-winner in hockey, helping New Trier to a state championship in 2012.
Claire continued her lacrosse career as a four-year letter winner at the University of Colorado as a member of the inaugural Division 1 program. She majored in Communications and Minored in Business. While at Colorado the Buffs were successful from there very first season, going 11-8 with a team of only freshman and improved their record every year, ending on a 16-4 record her senior season in 2017. That same season Colorado was ranked as high as #4 in the nation for multiple weeks and topped great programs including Northwestern, Penn State, James Madison, Stanford, UMASS, USC and more. The Buffs competed for the MPSF Conference Title in 2017 and made it to the NCAA tournament for the first time in program history in 2017.
Claire moved to Texas in December 2017 and works for PepsiCo in the Transportation/Supply Chain sector. She has a dog named Kitt who is named after the Colorado Lacrosse home field, Kitteridge Field. Claire has been a part of the high school coaching team with the Frisco Fury since the fall of 2018. Claire was a part of the coaching staff that led the Frisco Fury to a 2019 DII district championship. She also assisted with getting the Fury to the high school DII state championship game in 2019. In addition to Fury, Claire coaches with the 214 Club Program, serving as the head coach for the 2023 age group. Outside of lacrosse Claire loves to go to the dog park with her dog Kitt, go to FC Dallas games and hang out with her friends.
